What’s a tech retreat and why do you provide it for your team?

That’s such a great question!

Every year in late fall (November) our awesome owners, Nate and Tara Routsong, send Simplx’s field technicians off on an adventure to Fulton Market in Chicago to play, breathe, and learn. They whoop and holler at a Bulls game, defend their place as last year’s winner in a glorious ping-pong showdown, and master the art of competitive whirly ball strategy.

Following these (and other) shenanigans, it’s time, once again, to tighten the knot of knowledge via intense, hands-on workshops and personal development presentations.

The theme for this year’s retreat was Champions.

Presentations galore! The 2023 Simplx Security tech retreat featured each participant's outlook and considerations on what it means to be a "champion." — Field techs Brynn and Noah start their presentation on teamwork followed by Gabe and Kayleigh’s talk on having the heart of a champion.
